What the MuleBuy site and its reviews showed

MuleBuy's homepage did not load properly on three checks. A headless browser got "upstream request failed" on 6 October, 12 October and 19 October 2026, which is a server-side error, not a closure notice. We found no statement from MuleBuy explaining it. Reports of a raid circulated online, yet in our notes they stay unconfirmed, so we do not repeat them as fact.

The review record is the other signal. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,962 reviews, but every review dated 29 August to 11 September 2026 gave one star, mostly about orders that stopped moving. A good average can sit on top of a bad fortnight. Together these signals give the Hold label on this site: neither confirmed shut nor safe to fund.

Hold means a loaded page and a reply from support come before any new payment.

Money and parcels: pay per order, send nothing new

Whatever you decide about MuleBuy, new purchases belong elsewhere. Settle each order and each parcel at the moment you place it, on an agent whose site responds, and do not leave credit lying in an account. Reading the item number out of a MuleBuy link

An agent link is a wrapper. The real identifier is the marketplace item number, and LitBuy rebuilds a row from that number plus a platform code: https://www.litbuy.com/product/<code>/<id>, where 0 means 1688, 1 Taobao, 2 Weidian and 3 JD. We have not verified a MuleBuy link pattern, so the method is to look inside the link for one of the marketplace shapes below.

1. Find the marketplace address inside the MuleBuy link. If it sits after a url= part, it is percent-encoded; our LitBuy link converter unpacks it.
2. Read the number: Taobao item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=<id>, Weidian weidian.com/item.html?itemID=<id>, 1688 detail.1688.com/offer/<id>.html, JD item.jd.com/<id>.html.
3. Rebuild with the right code. Our 19 October test, a Taobao decoration, worked as litbuy.com/product/1/972753749417.
4. Check the page shows a price and stock. A delisted Weidian item showed an empty frame, which means the seller removed it.

If the MuleBuy link holds only an internal number and no marketplace address, search the seller's name or the product title from your sheet on the marketplace, then take the number from there.

The marketplace number survives every agent; the wrapper around it does not.

What three rescued rows cost to Germany through LitBuy

Take a hoodie at ¥189 (about €22.68), trainers at ¥259 (€31.08) and a cap at ¥59 (€7.08), all hypothetical prices at the planning rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.12. Assume the packed parcel weighs 1.75 kg: 0.7 kg, 0.9 kg and 0.15 kg, rounded. That sits under LitBuy's 2,000 g quote, which on 19 October 2026 was €38.75 ($43.53) on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, tax free, 10 to 15 working days.

The ¥24 customs prepayment, LitBuy's flat €3, is already part of the quote. LitBuy's Shipping Policy states that its tax-free lines handle duty and VAT, so there is no bill at the door. Seller shipping inside China is added to each item. Before paying, run the shipping calculator or LitBuy's estimator for your own weight; the figures shift with carriers. Which MuleBuy rows to rebuild first

Start with the rows you still want at today's price, and check each on LitBuy before anything else. Next, group them by weight. LitBuy bills the greater of actual and volumetric weight, so a bulky jacket can price like a heavier item. LitBuy's rehearsal parcel, a fixed ¥20 (about €2.40), pre-packs the box and reports real weight and size before you pay shipping; the rehearsal parcel page explains when it earns its fee. How much extra is the €2 EU fee on a MuleBuy rescue parcel?

LitBuy announced €2 per parcel for parcels submitted after 14:00 Beijing time on 25 October 2026, paid on to customs. On our assumed three-row haul that is €2.00 of the €101.59 total, so it is small next to the shipping line. The flat €3 customs prepayment is already inside LitBuy's estimator quote, so do not add it a second time.

Do many people in Germany search for MuleBuy?

Fewer than elsewhere. Semrush's September 2026 data shows about 3,600 monthly German searches against 22,200 in Italy, 12,100 in the US and 5,400 in France, from 57,700 worldwide. For comparison, LitBuy drew 22,200 in Germany. The MuleBuy sheets you meet in Germany therefore often arrive through Italian or American communities, not local ones.

Should I leave unshipped items in MuleBuy's warehouse?

We cannot advise on goods already there, because we hold no MuleBuy support address and its site did not load. Its terms, read earlier, gave 90 days of free storage. Photograph any order page you can still open, keep payment proofs, and avoid sending further money. For new purchases, a site that answers is the sensible test.
