What we can say about Hacoo
Hacoo is a shopping app. Our notes from 5 October 2026 describe it as an app-only retailer, previously known as Saramart, with DOOP TECH LIMITED of Hong Kong named on its Google Play listing. It sells and ships itself rather than collecting goods from Chinese marketplaces for you. That puts it in the same group as the other retailers on our marketplace hub, and outside what LitBuy says it can buy.
| Item | What we have | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Format | App only | Notes, 5 October 2026 |
| Former name | Saramart | Notes, 5 October 2026 |
| Company on Google Play | DOOP TECH LIMITED (Hong Kong) | Notes, 5 October 2026 |
| Basic shipping | €4.99 EU, £4.99 UK | Per order or per item not verified |
| Returns | 15 days | Conditions not verified |
| US and other markets | Not in our notes | We do not know |
We have not logged in to the app or read its terms, so we do not quote delivery times, fees or refund rules. The LitBuy legitimacy page shows how we handle third-party figures: dated, attributed and never rounded up.
Treat Hacoo's own checkout as the only source for its prices and rules.
Why a LitBuy row and a Hacoo row are different things
A LitBuy row points at a Chinese marketplace listing; LitBuy buys it, inspects it in Xiamen and ships it in a parcel you build. A Hacoo row points at a listing inside an app; Hacoo sends it. There is no warehouse step, no storage clock and no combined parcel. The upsides of that are speed of ordering and a single seller to deal with. The downside is that you cannot ask a third party to look at the item before it ships, which LitBuy does with three to six routine photos per item.
If you hold a sheet that mixes both kinds of rows, separate them: Hacoo rows get a delivered price from the app, and Taobao or Weidian rows get a LitBuy link and a weight. The LitBuy spreadsheet template has a platform column for this. Where a Hacoo product also appears on Taobao, the Taobao page shows how to build the LitBuy link from the item number.
Give every row a platform label so the right comparison is applied.
A small Hacoo order set beside a LitBuy parcel
The prices are hypothetical: three items at €11, €18 and €24, assumed 1.2 kg in total. The €4.99 shipping is from our notes, and because we could not verify whether it applies per order or per item, we show both readings.
| Reading | Items | Shipping | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| €4.99 once per order | €53.00 | €4.99 | €57.99 |
| €4.99 for each of three items | €53.00 | €14.97 | €67.97 |
Now the LitBuy side, which is not a substitute but shows the scale of China-to-Germany freight. LitBuy's estimator gave €38.75 ($43.53) on a 2,000 g parcel on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE on 19 October 2026, the nearest quoted weight above 1.2 kg, with the flat €3 EU prepayment inside it.
Freight for an assumed 1.2 kg through LitBuy
2 kg quote, list price€38.75 ($43.53)
Handling fee on EU parcels from 25 October€2.00
Freight and fee only, goods excluded€40.75
Even the more expensive reading of Hacoo's shipping, €14.97, is far below that. The comparison is not like for like, though: a LitBuy parcel carries Chinese-marketplace items that may not exist on any retailer app, and it comes with photos, a storage period and a return window. Pick the route by which items you want, not by which line is cheapest.
For items Hacoo stocks, its shipping is lower; for items only a Chinese shop sells, LitBuy is the route.
Customs and VAT on an app-store parcel
Germany applies 19% import VAT from the first euro. Small parcels worth up to €150 sent under IOSS, the EU's import one-stop shop, carry a temporary flat €3 duty per tariff category from 1 July 2026. On €53 of goods, 19% VAT would be €10.07; whether the app already added it, we cannot say. Look at the order summary before you pay, and save the invoice.
In the UK, VAT up to £135 is taken at the point of sale; larger orders meet VAT, duty and carrier fees at the border. Customs in any country can detain goods suspected of infringing a trademark. If you buy through any route and a parcel is held, read the notice, keep records and answer inside the deadline; our customs page sets out the steps.
Read the tax lines on the order summary, not just the headline price.
The UK and other markets
Our notes give a £4.99 basic shipping figure for the UK, and nothing for the United States or France, so we do not quote Hacoo for those. For scale, LitBuy's cheapest tax-free UK line, FF-Royalmail-GB-1, quoted £16.87 ($22.49) for 1,000 g on 19 October 2026, with 9–16 working days; to the United States the cheapest, FF-GOFO-US-2, quoted $37.41 for 1,000 g. France's cheapest, LIT-Quickly-GOFO-FR, quoted €23.75 ($26.68). These are warehouse-to-door prices for a consolidated parcel, and none is a Hacoo price.
The practical rule is the same in every market. Work out the delivered price per item on each route, include any tax line, and add the days you will wait. A retailer parcel is usually one seller and one tracking number; a LitBuy parcel is one tracking number for many sellers, after storage and inspection. See the delivery time page for LitBuy's working-day ranges.
Compare delivered price and waiting time together, per item, in your own country.
Columns a Hacoo sheet needs
Hacoo lists may be screenshots or notes of product names, since we could not confirm that listings open from a plain web link. A usable sheet holds the product name as shown in the app, the price when you saw it, the shipping line, the order date, the return deadline (15 days, per our notes, measured from your own order screen) and the tracking number. Add a column for "same item on Taobao?" so you can test a LitBuy route. For the Chinese-only items, the link converter turns a pasted marketplace link into a LitBuy one.
A second opinion on a mixed list is available through the WhatsApp QR on our contact page, which reaches a buying service with delivered prices, pre-dispatch photos and payment per order.
Record the return deadline the day you order, because a 15-day window passes quickly.
Hacoo questions from LitBuy buyers
Can LitBuy buy something I found on Hacoo?
Not from Hacoo itself. LitBuy's how-to guide says it cannot purchase from cross-border shopping platforms, and Hacoo is a retailer that sends parcels directly. If the same product is listed on Taobao or Weidian, that listing goes into LitBuy as code 1 or 2. Matching photos do not prove it is the same product, so compare details.
What do we know about who runs Hacoo?
Our notes from 5 October 2026 say Hacoo is an app-only retailer, previously called Saramart, and that its Google Play listing names DOOP TECH LIMITED of Hong Kong. We have not verified anything beyond that, and we did not read Hacoo's terms ourselves. Check the app-store listing and the in-app policies before you pay.
Is Hacoo's €4.99 shipping per order or per item?
We could not verify that. The figure comes from earlier research dated 5 October 2026 and gives EU basic shipping of €4.99 and UK shipping of £4.99. In our example below we show both readings, once per order and once per item, so you can see the gap. Only Hacoo's checkout settles it, and only for your address.
Why do people search for a Hacoo spreadsheet?
Our keyword file shows about 3,200 global monthly searches for it, equal to Taobao spreadsheet and well below DHgate at 17,300. Because Hacoo works only through its app, shoppers look for lists of listings to open there. We do not know the searchers' intent; the file gives volumes, not reasons.
Does a Hacoo parcel face the same EU customs rules as a LitBuy one?
The rules are the same: German import VAT of 19% from the first euro, and a temporary €3 duty per tariff category for small IOSS parcels up to €150 since 1 July 2026. On LitBuy's tax-free lines LitBuy pays them. On a Hacoo order, see whether the checkout shows tax, and keep the invoice if the carrier asks.
