Reading, rebuilding and rescuing LitBuy links when the sheet in your hand is half dead

Checked and updated .

Short answer: A LitBuy product link is litbuy.com/product//, with the code 0 meaning 1688, 1 Taobao, 2 Weidian and 3 JD. We loaded a Taobao example on 19 October 2026 and it worked; a Weidian test showed the Chinese notice 商品已下架, meaning the item was delisted. An inviteCode parameter belongs to the sheet's author, and removing it does not break the link.

The LitBuy link format, code by code

A LitBuy product address has three parts: the domain, a one-digit platform code and the marketplace's own item id. We read the code mapping from litbuy.com's JavaScript on 19 October 2026 and confirmed codes 1 and 2 with two live loads.

LitBuy product-link anatomy and the original page it points to
PlatformCodeLitBuy linkOriginal page
16880litbuy.com/product/0/<id>detail.1688.com/offer/<id>.html
Taobao1litbuy.com/product/1/<id>item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=<id>
Weidian2litbuy.com/product/2/<id>weidian.com/item.html?itemID=<id>
JD3litbuy.com/product/3/<id>item.jd.com/<id>.html

Our test: https://www.litbuy.com/product/1/972753749417, a Taobao Halloween decoration, loaded with "CNY 18.61 ≈ USD 3.29", stock, an estimated seller shipment date of 21 October, arrival at the warehouse expected by 26 October, and the prompt "Place an order now - 15 minutes fast purchase!". At ¥1 ≈ €0.12 the item is about €2.23, which also shows the shipping problem: a parcel of 500 g to Germany cost €16.81 in LitBuy's estimator that day, so a €2 row is only worth shipping when it shares a parcel. The shipping cost page has the other weights.

Code, then id: that is the whole format.

Pasting beats typing: how LitBuy reads a link

You rarely need to build an address. LitBuy's guide says to copy the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link directly into its search bar and it processes the order. Searching this way can add ?linkSearch=true to the address; that parameter is a trace of the search, not part of the product. Sources LitBuy cannot search, such as Yupoo, Goofish (Xianyu), Xiaohongshu and Pinduoduo, go through Fill & Buy at litbuy.com/diy-order, where you enter the details by hand. The ordering guide covers that route.

The mobile site uses a different address. An advertising pixel in LitBuy's code shows m.litbuy.com/pages/goods/details?channelId=weidian&spuNo=<id>, which puts the platform name in the address instead of a number. If a link in your sheet looks like that, it is the mobile form of the same product; the spuNo is the same marketplace id.

Paste the marketplace link; build one only when the sheet gives you an id.

Finding the original link behind a LitBuy link

We read German searches such as "litbuy orginal link" as asking for the reverse of pasting: you hold a LitBuy address and want the seller's page. Rebuild it from the table. Take /product/1/972753749417: code 1 is Taobao and the id is 972753749417, so the original is https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=972753749417.

  1. Copy the two path segments after /product/.
  2. Map the code: 0 is 1688, 1 Taobao, 2 Weidian, 3 JD.
  3. Insert the id into the original address from the table.
  4. Open it in a browser; if you get Tmall, replace the host with detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=<id>.

Our link converter does the same conversion in both directions, and the spreadsheet template page has a formula for it. An id is the real identifier of the item. Agents wrap it in their own address, so a row can move between agents by extracting the id and the platform and rebuilding. An earlier test of ours on 12 October 2026 found that KakoBuy's wrapper takes kakobuy.com/item/details?url= plus the encoded marketplace link; other agents' formats we could not verify.

The id travels; the wrapper does not.

Dead rows and the 商品已下架 notice

Our second test, https://www.litbuy.com/product/2/7583138171, a Weidian item, loaded the LitBuy frame but returned the Chinese notice 商品已下架, "product removed from shelf". That page is valid; the seller delisted the item. Rows can die for ordinary reasons: the seller removed the listing, the shop closed, or the sheet author typed the wrong platform code. The notice we saw points to the first. If the link works on the original marketplace but not on LitBuy, the platform code is the suspect.

A two-minute check for any row: open it; confirm price and stock show; change the code only if the original site says otherwise; then ask the sheet's author for a replacement. Do not send money to a stranger who offers "fixed links". The spreadsheets page explains why dead-link rates matter when you choose a sheet, and the Reddit page covers sheets that vanish with their posts.

A delisted notice means the row is dead, not that the format is wrong.

Saving links before the post disappears

Sheets vanish when a Reddit post is deleted or a Discord message scrolls away, and the row you wanted goes with it. For every row you care about, save three things: the marketplace id, the platform code and the date you last saw it load. With those, you can rebuild the LitBuy address at any time, and the id works on any agent. Our haul planner CSV has columns for them, plus weight and euro cost, so a dead row costs you one line, not a plan. Note the price you saw in yuan as well, because sellers change prices and LitBuy may show a different figure after conversion.

Store the id and code, not just the link.

The inviteCode parameter in sheet links

Some links end in &inviteCode=<code>. LitBuy may add the parameter when a visitor searches through someone's invitation link, and in a spreadsheet it usually belongs to the sheet's author. According to LitBuy's affiliate terms, the inviter earns a share of freight and product commission from people they refer, so a link with a code can pay its owner. There is no documented price difference for you, and deleting the parameter does not break the link. We print no codes. The invitation-code page sets out the commission rules in full.

A sheet author is allowed to earn this way, but you are allowed to know it. If you want a link with no code, copy the part up to the item id and nothing after it.

Strip the tail if you want a neutral link.

Lien LitBuy and LitBuy link: what French and German searchers want

Lien LitBuy (French searches for "litbuy link" and variants run to about 480 a month, per Semrush data for September 2026) usually means: how do I get a product link into LitBuy? Answer: copy the product link from Taobao, Weidian or 1688 and paste it into the search bar. If the link comes from a seller on Yupoo, use Fill & Buy.

"agentlinks litbuy" (about 90 monthly searches in Germany) reads like a search for ready-made lists of agent links. LitBuy has no public link catalogue that we found, and no list here is guaranteed live. The home page's LitBuy spreadsheet shows where lists come from and how to test them. For a first parcel, our WhatsApp QR on the contact page is there if you would rather not manage links yourself; it gives one delivered price and photos before dispatch.

Different words, same answer: paste the marketplace link.

Link questions from buyers in Germany

How is a LitBuy product address put together?

A LitBuy product link is https://www.litbuy.com/product/ followed by a platform code and the marketplace item id, for example /product/1/972753749417. The code is 0 for 1688, 1 for Taobao, 2 for Weidian and 3 for JD. We loaded that Taobao example on 19 October 2026 and LitBuy showed the item at CNY 18.61, about USD 3.29, with stock and arrival dates.

How do I find the original Taobao link behind a LitBuy link?

Read the code and the id from the LitBuy address, then rebuild the marketplace address. Code 1 plus id 972753749417 becomes item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=972753749417; code 2 becomes weidian.com/item.html?itemID=; code 0 becomes detail.1688.com/offer/.html. Tmall items use detail.tmall.com, which the LitBuy code alone cannot tell you, so try Taobao first and switch host if the page is empty. The id stays identical on both.

Why does my LitBuy link show a Chinese message about the item being gone?

The message 商品已下架 means the product was taken off the shelf by the seller. Our Weidian test on 19 October 2026 returned it: the LitBuy page loaded but the item did not. The format was valid; the row is dead. Search the shop for a replacement, or ask the sheet's author whether a new listing exists.

Does the inviteCode in a LitBuy link cost me extra?

No price difference is documented. LitBuy may append inviteCode to a link when someone searches while logged in with an invitation code, and the owner of the code can earn commission from referrals according to LitBuy's affiliate rules. You can delete the parameter without breaking the link. Use it or not; do not enter a stranger's code if you would rather stay neutral.

Lien LitBuy: how do I open a Taobao link on LitBuy?

Paste the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link into the search bar on litbuy.com, or rebuild it by hand: litbuy.com/product/1/ followed by the item id for Taobao. Yupoo and Xianyu links cannot be read this way and go through Fill & Buy, where you type the details yourself. Our link converter on this site does the rebuilding in both directions for you.

Why does an agentlinks litbuy search show no working links?

Searches like agentlinks litbuy usually look for ready-made lists, but a list is only as live as its rows. LitBuy publishes no catalogue of links; the rows come from sheets, Discord, Reddit and creators. Check each row yourself: open it, see if stock shows, and look for the delisted message. Rebuild the link from the item id if the format is wrong.
