SHEIN sheets next to LitBuy: sizes, order logs and the cost of moving a Chinese-market twin to Germany

Checked and updated .

Short answer: No, SHEIN rows do not go into LitBuy: SHEIN sells and ships abroad itself, and LitBuy says it cannot purchase from cross-border shopping platforms. A SHEIN spreadsheet is usually a size log, a finds list or an order tracker. If you chase a Taobao twin instead, five assumed 0.09 kg tops cost €18.81 to move to Germany in one parcel, which is €3.76 per top.

SHEIN ships to you, so LitBuy has no job here

SHEIN is an online fashion retailer that sells to buyers abroad and sends the parcel itself. LitBuy works the other way round: it buys from Chinese domestic marketplaces, holds goods in its Xiamen warehouse and forwards one combined parcel. Its how-to article says it cannot purchase from cross-border shopping platforms, so a SHEIN link has no LitBuy code and no useful Fill & Buy detour. You order on SHEIN, pay SHEIN and receive its parcel.

That makes a SHEIN spreadsheet a different animal from a LitBuy sheet. A LitBuy sheet turns a marketplace item into a row you can weigh and combine. A SHEIN sheet only has to say which garment, which size and what happened. If you add LitBuy rows to the same file, give every row a platform label, so the retailer orders and the warehouse parcel are never totalled together.

SHEIN rows are bought on SHEIN; only a Taobao or Weidian twin can enter a LitBuy parcel.

Four files that all call themselves a SHEIN spreadsheet

The keyword file we use shows about 390 global monthly searches for "SHEIN spreadsheet", far below DHgate at 17,300. The small figure fits the model: a shopper who can check out in two taps has little need for an agent file. What circulates under the name falls into four groups.

  • Finds lists of outfits, usually a link and a photo per row.
  • Size logs, where a buyer records what fitted.
  • Order trackers with price paid, dates and return status.
  • Mixed sheets that put retailer rows beside agent rows.

The size log is the most useful of the four, because it turns a returned parcel into data. The finds list is the weakest, since a link tells you nothing about fit and nobody maintains it. For the mixed sheet, our LitBuy spreadsheet template already carries a platform column, so you can add "SHEIN" as a fifth value and leave its LitBuy link cell empty.

Keep the size log; treat a bare finds list as inspiration only.

Columns that make a retailer sheet worth keeping

A SHEIN order and size sheet, column by column
ColumnWhat to writeQuestion it answers
Item linkThe listing address you ordered fromCan I find it again?
Size orderedThe label you pickedWhat did I choose?
Chart measurement (cm)Chest or waist figure from the listingWhat does the label mean for this maker?
Price paid (€)The total shown at checkoutWhat did it really cost?
Delivery dateDay it arrivedHow long did the retailer take?
Fit verdictTight, true, looseOrder this size again?
Return statusKept, returned, refund receivedIs the money back?

The chart measurement column is the one most files skip, and it is the one that makes the next order easier. A size label means little across makers, so write the centimetre figure and your own measurement beside it. The same habit helps with Chinese-market listings, where the clothes spreadsheet page explains why a size chart must be read per item.

Log centimetres, not just letters, and the sheet starts predicting fit.

Moving a Chinese-market twin to Germany

Sometimes a SHEIN top has a lookalike cut on Taobao. The numbers below are hypothetical: a ¥69 top, five of them, with an assumed 0.09 kg each, 0.45 kg in total, so the 500 g quote applies. At ¥1 ≈ €0.12 each top is €8.28. LitBuy's estimator quoted €16.81 ($18.89) for 500 g to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE on 19 October 2026, list price before the new-user promotion; parcels submitted after 25 October 2026 add €2. We leave out seller shipping to keep the sum visible.

Five hypothetical ¥69 tops, assumed 0.45 kg, Germany

Goods: 5 × ¥69 = ¥345€41.40

500 g quote, LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, list price€16.81 ($18.89)

EU handling fee after 25 October 2026€2.00

Shipping and fee per top€3.76

Landed cost per top€12.04

Total, before coupons€60.21

The figure to hold against SHEIN is €12.04 per top, set beside the delivered price at SHEIN's checkout, which we did not read. A single top would carry the whole €18.81 of freight and fee, so the twin route only makes sense in bulk. Rows weigh very little here, which also means the packed weight could exceed 0.45 kg once LitBuy's bag is added; the rehearsal parcel at ¥20 shows the real weight before you pay freight.

Hold €12.04 per top against SHEIN's delivered price, and remember the twin is a different garment.

Returns and taxes: what we read and what we did not

We did not read SHEIN's return policy, so we cannot compare it line by line. What we can state is LitBuy's side. Before shipment, a return request must start within 5 days (120 hours) of the item being warehoused, and the buyer normally pays shipping to the seller, the original shipping from the seller and a ¥5 service fee, unless the seller erred. After delivery abroad, contact [email protected] first, get approval and expect to pay return shipping; LitBuy's international shipping, service fees and duties are non-refundable. Tags removed, underwear and socks are excluded from returns.

On tax, Germany applies 19% import VAT from the first euro, and a flat €3 customs duty per tariff category has applied to small IOSS parcels worth up to €150 since 1 July 2026. A direct SHEIN order may already include VAT at checkout; we did not read how, so check the order summary and keep the invoice. LitBuy's tax-free EU lines charge a flat €3 per parcel instead. See the returns page for the full rules.

Compare return rules before price when an item has to fit.

When a LitBuy parcel still belongs in the picture

An agent helps with the rows SHEIN cannot supply: Chinese-only sellers on Taobao, Weidian or 1688, or a mixed sheet where the Chinese-market rows should travel together. For those, the link converter rebuilds a marketplace link as a LitBuy link, and the marketplace hub shows which platforms take which route. Read the shipping cost page before you commit to a weight. For everything else on the list, check out on SHEIN and let the sheet record the result.

Use the retailer for retailer rows and LitBuy for the rows only China sells.

SHEIN questions from LitBuy buyers

Can I paste a SHEIN link into LitBuy's search box?

No. LitBuy's how-to guide says it cannot purchase from cross-border shopping platforms, and SHEIN delivers to Germany, France, the US and the UK itself. Order on SHEIN and keep the order number. If you find the same garment on Taobao or Weidian, that listing converts to a LitBuy link as code 1 or 2, but it is a different seller.

Which files get called a SHEIN spreadsheet?

Our keyword file shows about 390 global monthly searches for it. The files behind the phrase are mostly outfit and finds lists, personal order trackers and size logs. None is a LitBuy sheet. A tracker earns its place by recording the size ordered, the price paid, the delivery date and whether the item went back, which a plain links list never does.

Which columns does a SHEIN size log need?

Item link, size ordered, the size chart's chest or waist figure in centimetres, your own measurement, fit verdict, price paid, delivery date and return status. Measurements matter because sizing differs between makers, so a note that a medium fitted tells you little. Our template page shows a structure you can trim for a retailer.

Is a Taobao twin of a SHEIN item cheaper through LitBuy?

We cannot say, because we did not read SHEIN's prices and will not invent them. Our example puts a hypothetical ¥69 top at about €12.04 landed in Germany once freight is shared across five tops. Compare that figure with the delivered price on SHEIN's checkout for the same garment, and allow for a different cut and fabric.

How do SHEIN returns compare with LitBuy returns?

We did not read SHEIN's return rules, so check them before ordering. LitBuy's rules we did read: before shipment a return request must start within 5 days (120 hours) of the item being warehoused, and costs both domestic shipping legs plus ¥5. After delivery abroad, contact [email protected] first and expect to pay return shipping.

Would an agent add anything to a German SHEIN order?

No. SHEIN already delivers to Germany by itself, so an agent adds a second international leg rather than removing one. LitBuy's estimator quoted €24.12 ($27.10) for 1,000 g to Germany on 19 October 2026, plus €2 after 25 October. That cost only makes sense for items you cannot get from the retailer.
